(Named as a parody of the common titles of real mathematical papers). Consists of three methods, each of which is used in a different situation.

**Method 1.**

To be used if the number is in the form n = 0. recurring digits

Number of recurring digits = x

P = recurring combination

Q = 10^{x} – 1

**Method 2.**

To be used if the number is in the form n = 0. r recurring digits

Number of digits in r = y

n x 10^{y }= r. recurring digits

If r ≠ 0, then use Method 3.

If r = 0, then use Method 1.

**Method 3.**

To be used if the number is in the form n = r. recurring digits

Subtract r from n.

Apply Method 1 to n – r

Add (10^{x} – 1)r to p.
